Stiehl Communications was founded in March 2000 by Joe Stiehl with a simple mission: help people stay connected where they spend most of their time.
Joe's career in wireless communications began on the retail side of the cellular industry, where he owned and operated cellular phone stores. As he worked with customers, he recognized a common problem. People would purchase new phones and service plans, only to discover they still struggled with poor cellular coverage inside the buildings where they lived and worked.
That realization led Joe to the world of in-building wireless communications. By focusing on Cellular Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), he was able to solve the problem at its source, delivering reliable indoor cellular coverage instead of simply selling another device.
More than 25 years later, that same commitment continues to guide everything we do.
